Born on 25.01.1964 at Raichur, Karnataka is son of lower middle class family of Late\r\nT.Narasimhulu & Smt. Late Channamma. Completed Pre-University Education in\r\nRaichur & thereafter came to Bangalore in 1985 to do engineering in R.V. College of\r\nEngineering, Bangalore. Due to decreasing eyesight discontinued engineering course\r\nand joined first batch of 5year LLB in 1986 in University Law College, Bangalore\r\nUniversity, Bangalore. Completed LLB in 1991 & thereafter completed LL.M in 1993\r\nfrom the same college. Started teaching career from 1994 & served as Principal, Indira\r\nPriyadarshini Law College, Bangalore from 1995 to 1998. Served as full time law\r\nteacher in B.M.S. Law College from 1998 to 2003. Joined University Law College as\r\npermanent teacher in 2003 and is presently working as Associate Professor of Law, &\r\nrecently assumed the charge as Chairman, P.G. Dept. of Law, University Law College,\r\nBangalore University, Bangalore. Completed Ph.D. from prestigious Indian Law\r\nInstitute (Deemed Central University) for which Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India\r\nis the Chancellor & received Ph.D. Convocation from Chief Justice of India in 2010 in\r\nVigyan Bhavan, New Delhi by becoming the first person in India to obtained Ph.D. in\r\nLaw. Received National Award from Ex-president of India Dr.Pranab Mukherjee as Best\r\nEmployee Award instituted by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India\r\non 3rd December 2014 in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. Received Gautam Buddha\r\nDr.B.R. Ambedkar Bharatiya Dalita Sahitya National Award in New Delhi. Visited Sri\r\nLanka, Thailand for presenting papers at International Seminars. Presented papers at\r\nNational Seminars also. Till now 4 Ph.D. Degree holders are declared under my\r\nguidance in Bangalore University. Dr.N.Dasharath is the author & published three\r\nbooks namely, 1.)Vision for Social Justice 2.)Reasonable Accommodation at\r\nworkplace for Persons with Disability 3.)Untouchability and the Law. Becomes the first\r\nvisually challenged (Blind Person) in South India to become the Chairperson of\r\nUniversity Law College and P.G. Dept. of Law with effect from 1.1.2019.
